CDN for Joomla! only converts the media urls to the cdn equivalents. It is down to your CDN service (cloudfront in your case) how those urls get dealt with.
If media is not served via the expected urls, then you should ask your CDN provider for support.
Hi Triantafillos Tanidis, did you solve the problem? I have the same and I can't find any information/tutorials that aren't years old and the Cloudfront settings seem quite a bit different.
