Some images have a wrong path

Thomas Venugopal's Avatar Thomas Venugopal
Hello,

our Joomla is in a subfolder domain.com/landing. We serve 2 Domains with a single Joomla 4 installation. The setup of CDN for Joomla was easy and it worked out of the box. With on exception: some images have a wrong path (the images are thumbnails generated by article anywhere.)

The only difference between the images which have the right path and the images which have the wrong path is, that the ones which are not displayed have been added in Joomla 4 via the media manager. The images which work have been added in Joomla 3 via the media manager.

Any idea why some images are working and some do not?

Can you see what the difference in the working and non-working URLs are when CDN for Joomla is disabled?
Both in the source (article editor) and in the final HTML output...

I don't understand the question. When the CDN is disabled all urls are working fine. There is no source code only the path in the image tab (article editor).

Fixed the problem! Thank you very much. Is it safe to use the latest version in production?
Peter van Westen's Avatar Peter van Westen ADMIN
Probably yes. At your own risk of course.

Some resources on Example 2 are loaded through domain1 - see source code.

- Joomla Version: 4.3.4
- CDN for Joomla Version: 7.0.0
- Cache cleaned

Config same, nothing changed.

Seems to me like a totally different issue.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
You can use the 'Confidential information' button in the forum editor to hide sensitive information.

Thank you!

I can't/won't use a Joomla file browser to change files. If I change something that breaks the admin, I have no way to fix it.
So if you can provide direct (s)ftp access, I am happy to look into this further.

Also, I would need the staging version of the second site too, right?
How will I be able to see/reproduce the url issue with just 1 site?

It's 1 Joomla installation which is used for 2 Domains. I updated my post above, I hope it makes sense now and I was able to get ssh credentials.

Your setup is not correct to use a different cdn url for the different domains.

Please read the descriptions of the options:
