I have redis set for my cache and session handler in Joomla. When I enable the cleaning of redis in the cache cleaner options and then clean the cache, it does seem to purge both the session data and the content. This obviously logs out users. Is this the expected behavior?

Only happens with cache cleaner button, no joomla core cleaning method. If I use different handler for session (memcached) and redis for content, then cleaning does not logout the user. Here are my current settings:
