Don't authorize connexion

Patrick Gaulin's Avatar Patrick Gaulin
Hi,

On certain computers, when we try to edit a condition set or select existing condition set, we have a problem. We receive this message:

websiteurl.com doesn't, authorize connexion (My English transalation from French)

All user have super admin access. There is no Ad blocker activated. I thought it was because of RS Firewall. But I turned it off and still have the issue.

In my own computer everything work fine. I tried with my own user on the problematic computer and, it still doesn't work.

Joomla version: 4.3.1
Advanced module manager version: 9.7.2 pro

Any idea what can be the cause and, most importantly, the solution to solve the issue?

Many Thanks.

My first guess would be some firewall like RS Firewall or AdminTools.

Secondly it could be a browser extension, if you see that it happens on certain computer, and not on others.

I tried to deactivate RS Firewall (Don't have Admintools), cleared the Joomla cache, cleared server cache, clear browser cache and reset to default. And still have the same issue.

I don't have any plugin for Chrome. I also tried with Firefox and same problem.

Any other ideas?

I also tried to turn of my antivirus on my computer.

Can you give me access so I can see the issue?
And also (s)ftp access so I can try and see what is going on.

I already have the latest version of Advanced modules manager.and the Last Joomla. Which extensions do you want me to update?

In Regular Labs extension Manager, I only saw "extension manager" who needed an update. I just updated it.

You have a lot of different extensions that are not uptodate.
So if any has a bug that could cause this, then it could have already been fixed.

Hence the big red box here in the forum that says you should update your extensions before asking for support.

I understand. Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't thinking that was for all Joomla extensions. I will do my home work and come back if it is still buggy.

Thank you for your patience.

All my extension are updated to the latest version. Still the same issue.

Waiting for your reply.

Thank you,

Everything seems to be working fine for me. I cannot reproduce the issue.
See if a different browser solves it for you.
Also clear your browser's cache and cookies.

I continue to do some tests and I found that the bug is there only when the URL contains a www.

I understand that you cannot reproduce the issue because I cannot either on my main computer. Only on three others computers of my team members

Maybe you will find, I hope, with this detail, an idea or a clue for me to find a solution. My goal is to keep the www into the URL.

Just let me know if you think of something.

Thank you very much.

I just logged in to your website with the www prefix added.
I can see the issue. But the issue is there on ALL things that open in a modal iframe.
Also the Joomla core editor buttons, like Media and Page Break.

This is down to settings on your own setup. If you want to mix www and non-www URLs, you'll need to solve the 'X-Frame-Options' issue on your end.

Check the console in your browser for more info.

To be completely clear: this has nothing to do with my extensions at all.

I really really appreciate your time. I'm a big fan of your work for a while. Likewise, I subscribed to your bundle the first year you offered it, and I think I will be there for many years to come.

Long life to regular Labs !!!

Have a marvellous day 🙂
