List of article links is not displayed

Michael Aust's Avatar Michael Aust
I have a defined number of articles by one author. I would now like to display a list (articles-links) in one (main)article. But the list are not displayed

I am not sure what you mean exactly.
The 'Linked Articles' field displays articles that are linked to it via the 'Articles Field'. It has nothing to do with authors.

Can you explain what you are doing and what you expect?

I would like to link articles that have the same author
in one article is a link list to all other articles (from the same author)

So not using Articles Field, I guess.

You can use Articles Anywhere Pro to output what you want:
regularlabs.com/articlesanywhere

I assumed that the current module would create a list to other articles*, which would be displayed in articleX*:

Ex:
link-to-article1, link-to-article2, link-to-article3;

*all articles have the same author

Sorry, I still don't understand what you question.

Are you now asking about Articles Field or Articles Anywhere?
Did you read the docs before asking?

To see what you can do with Articles Anywhere and how to do it:
docs4.regularlabs.com/articlesanywhere

Yes, with the "Articles Linked" field you can link back to the articles that link to it through the main Articles Field.

I have everything set up but the list with links to the other articles (by the same author) is not displayed in the article.
could you also provide me the code segment? I would also rather install it via “Sourcerer” than via “Article field”.

The Articles Field is a field. So it is displayed like other Joomla fields.

How are you trying to output the field?

Hello Mr. van Westen, we are now solving the problem differently.

Subject tab-tool:
see image

Can you tell me how I can reduce the area (highlighted in red)?
Thank you!

That's down to css styling.

For more info about how elements get their styling, you can use the Element Inspector of your browser.
