Hi Peter,
If I want to output an entire Field Group using the [fieldgroup:5] syntax with alternative layouts for both field and field group, how do I do that?
EDIT: I can code it into the field group (fields) layout, but I wonder if there is a way to do it with AA itself.

You can set the layout for the Field Group inside the [fieldgroup] tag.
That layout itself can indeed set the layout to use for the individual fields.
There is currently no option in Articles Anywhere to pass along a specific layout for the field inside the [fieldgroup] tag.
