It used to work when I first wrote it (2 Feb -- Articless Anywhere 13.0.2 , Joomla 4.2.7) but I hadn't checked until today after the updates to Joomla and Articles Anywhare.

Now -- Joomla 4.3.1 / PHP 8.2.5 / Articles Anywhere 13.1.5

changing back to PHP 8.1.18 or 8.0.28 appears to make no difference.

What am I doing wrong?

Hang on. It is my Stupidity -- I had renamed the categories e.g. 2023 --> 2023-reviews so clealry the code above didn't work.
