Strip content plugins

Troy Mumm's Avatar Troy Mumm
Is there a way to strip content plugins from the article text? I'm using AllVideos to display YouTube, but the plugin code is displayed in the Article Anywhere output: {youtube}XXXX{/youtube} I don't want the plugin to fire to show the video, I just would like to see if it can be removed before I look for alternate solutions.

With the Joomla 4 version of Articles Anywhere you can do simple search and replacements.
docs4.regularlabs.com/articlesanywhere/d...tions#search-replace

But there isn't a built-in way to stip all plugin-style tags and whatever is in between the opening and closing tags. That is way too specific.

Are the {youtube} tags like that in your final output? Or does AllVideos still manage to convert them?

You could use ReReplacer to remove anything you don't want from your final HTML output...
