articles anywhere pro & Yoothemes pro issue

Klaus Fuchs's Avatar Klaus Fuchs
I just downloaded the Pro of your articles anywhere ?
For my task I need articles anywhere,
But if I add:
{article id="9"}{/article}
then I get this result:
yoo.fuchs-net.de/index.php/test-articles-anywhere
but it should look like that:
yoo.fuchs-net.de/index.php/ein-ta-sample
where is source of thatissue?
1.) me???
2.) regular labs?
3.) yootheme pro?

any idea? Thanks Klaus

Looks like a CSS issue.

The main article page loads some CSS classes/divs around the container of the article, that you're not loading when using Articles Anywhere.

Hi thanks for the ultra fast reply!

I guss its a css issue too, as the content is shown- so the question is...
- me?
- Yootheme pro?
- reglab?
What do you think where to start searching for the issue:-)

I mentioned where to start. Look at the divs and the classes output in the main article page. And try to understand why they're not being output in the page where you put your Articles Anywhere code...
It's not the fault of Reglab, if you remove the Articles Anywhere code, those surrounding tags are still not output.

the page loads correctly when i load the original article:
yoo.fuchs-net.de/index.php/yoo-article

Mhh, anyway I try to find out what to do.
Thanks and have a nice sunday!

Hi,
just for a follow up and info for you:
Joomshaper and Yootheme does not support Article anywhere:-(
Hendrik/Yootheme answer:
"Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to build the pages in the same way. As described, the builder layout from YOOtheme Pro is not rendered when the article is loaded via Articles Anywhere.
The plugin uses its own render methods to read the content of the linked articles. This does not trigger the event on which the YOOtheme Builder becomes active.

We will investigate if there is a way to support this in the future."

Very sad, the PageBuilder from Joomlashine was able to do that, and unfortunately they have closed their company.
I hope that it will be possible again sometime...
Best regards

There is one thing that I don't understand, though.

Where are you inserting the {article} tag? Is it inside another article? Or somewhere else?

Because if you insert the tag inside another article (which is already loaded through YOOtheme), it should work, right?

Hello!

I am using your AA for Jevents and My Map Location.
These two extensions only provide the Joomla editor to describe the event and the location.
In my task, I have about hundreds of articles of event/locations. I create these articles using a page builder (the client may need to update their content).
I need to add these articles in Jevent's description and location map with AA. And this is not working.

As mentioned before, I used the same principle here:
tierarztnotdienst-mittelfranken.de/
with Joomlashine page builder... all good....

Ooooh understood.

So the real issue here is that Yootheme doesn't support JEvents. 🙂

Articles Anywhere does not load a component view. It only loads an article snippet inside the component where it is placed.

So, yeah, the real issue is that Yootheme doesn't support the component that you're using to insert articles in (in this case, JEvents)

Hi,

yes and no...
what I dont understand:
Joomlashine's page builder also does not support jevents & My Map Location!
But it works with their pagebuilder... I simply used your {article 69}{/article} as example. And the article id=69 was a pagebuilder article.

Thats the issue...🙁

Weird... no idea. Maybe Pagebuilder has built special support for Articles Anywhere.
