How is it possible to show a module only in products detail pages ? (and consequently only in virtuemart categories pages) ?

No, not specifically for Virtuemart. You could ask them if they can provide you with a code snippet.
It could be as easy as just reading out a view or task or layout from the url input.
Or it involves a bit more, like getting info via a VM method.
