Hi,
just by chance, is the Mobile Detect Library no longer updated for Joomla 3.10.12 and AMM 9.8.0?
Apparently tablets from 9.7" to 12.9" are not taken into account.
I've also tried on a real 9.7" device and I have the same issue.

Correct. I am no longer pushing updates to the Joomla 3 versions.

just another question: is it possible to load this library manually, or the task is more complicated than simply updating the library?

It isn't that easy to update it in the J3 version manually.
You could use PHP to do the checks.
By the way, the Mobile Detect Library does not work on the basis of screen sizes (that's impossible for PHP).
It does all it's work based on the agent strings.
