Hello,
the option for "Also on child items" is not avilable in the J4 version. I tried the latest stable version and the latest dev version. The option just doesn't appear like on the screenshot from the docs.

It is appearing just fine for me in the Condition edit popup.
What Rule Type are you trying to use?
