Conditions on modules not working

Vincent Verhoeven's Avatar Vincent Verhoeven
Hello,

I was placing a new module today, trying out the new conditions for the advanced module manager. But I couldn't change anything about the rules. Please advice what to do since I can't publish my new module.

Some extra info, got a 500 error in the console. (see screenshot)

Figured out it has something tot do in file administrator/components/com_conditions/src/View/Item/HtmlView.php
Code on line 55 and 56 fires the 500 error.

ps. Joomla and AMM are up to date offcourse

See if switching on Error Reporting in the configuration reveals anything.

If not, Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.

It is loading fine for me.
It might be some browser extension you have that is interfering.

Hi Peter,

Sorry for my late response.

Could you please show me the url of the page in your screenshot? When I open it (in Edge browser which has no extensions) I still see no options.

Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies.

Hi Peter,

Sorry, still going to bother you with this issue. It is still not working for me on this website, on other websites of us it does work like it should. Was flattening all the possible variables but couldn't come to an explenation. Maybe you can help me or give me a direction to look at.

I still get a 500 error and an error when I check the response in the network error.

What I did:

- Fresh browser, no cache no cookies and no plugins or extensions installed (edge so Chromium)
- On my mobile 5G (to rule out our office firewall to maybe block some scripts)
- Private computer (to really have no local caching or things like that, also on my home wifi)
- Reinstalled the extension in Joomla
- Took the com_conditions folder from the other working website we have and replaced it.
- Logged in with a fresh Super User (even tried with the account I made for you)
- Disabled RSfirewall (though it works with firewall active on the other side)
- Compared active extensions with working website
- Tried with other computers within our office

I did everything I can think of hopefully you have any advice.

Thanks in advance!

Tom
