Add to Menu
Suggestion: checkbox "visible"
Recently, Joomla added a checkbox to not show menu items. It would be nice if this option would also be available when using the "add to menu" tool.
There are a ton of options inside the menu items. Most of which most people don't use in most cases.
Add to Menu aims at quickly creating menu items in a simple way.
Adding all available options would counter that goal.
This new option also falls in that category (will only be used in some cases by a small amount of people).
So I am not considering adding that as a ready-to-use option in Add to Menu.
I do however have plans to recode Add to Menu some time in the future so you have full control over what options to show and what not.
But there is no expected time for that whatsoever. And may not even make it in the Joomla 3 version.
I was realizing the same thing when I was looking up the screenshot. I use it a lot for SEO reasons, but I get your point.
Looking forward to the next version. Keep up the good work and thanks a lot.
+ 1 vote for this (+40 if you count all of my clients who would save time from this option) 😉 .
I'm not sure I fully agree when you say
Add to menu is a must have tool for any Joomla website, however it would save us a lot of time if we could toggle menu visibility as we need to add articles to the menu to ensure correct publishing and sharing functions. but don't necessarily want them to be visible in the menu.
It would also be great to be able to manage the page class, meta title and meta description options straight from "Add to menu", as we need to set these anyway.

Hi, maybe it's me but I don't see the option in the modal. 😲
Downloaded the development version, cleared cache etc.
