Help: Content Templater Stopped Working

I have the latest pro version installed on JOOMLA 3.9.26 and JCE Editor Pro 2.9.7 using Brave with popups disabled.

When I click on [Content Template] at the bottom of the next editor it takes me main control panel and closes the page.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling but no resolution.

Any ideas?

I cannot reproduce this issue here.
Please try to clear your browser cookies and cache and empty your Joomla sessions database table...

I am sorry, but it seems to be caused by something locally on your side.
I cannot reproduce the issue on your site either.
I logged in, opened a Content Templater item, clicked on 'Save & close', and all is fine. It returns me to the list (not the control panel).

I recommend you try this on a different browser. And see if any of your browser plugins is causing issues.

I tried this on multiple browsers on three computers and even changed networks.

Still doing the same.

I checked on my corporate site (where the module works) and it is running 9.0.1PRO and it works.

Any other ideas?

Just tried it. Same thing.

So here's a bit more info:
* All I am running locally is windows security and Malwarebytes (I have whitelisted this domain).
* I tried turning off RS Firewall (no effect)
* I have no browser extensions installed and I tried this is Chrome, Brave, FF, and Edge on three different computers.
* Also disabled my wired network (comcast business) and use my verizon hot spot. Same effect.

Can you send me 9.0.1PRO plugin?

Then I do not understand why I can save the Content Templater items on your website without any issues... 🤔

I installed version contenttemplater-v9.0.1-pro and it works perfectly.

So I updated another site we are developing to the latest version and same effect. Drops me back to the main screen. Then I installed 9.0.1: Works perfectly.

There is some problem in your 10.0 code.

It is possible the the 'updater' code is corrupted and your local installs, as the developer, are correct?

Well, like I said, I could save the template without issues on YOUR website. So that is the weird thing about this. So I couldn't reproduce the issue on your own site.

Neither can I reproduce the issue on any of my live sites.

Can you re-install the latest version on your website, and see if you see the same behavior with the login you gave me?
Then I can check again if I see the issue on your site or not...

I can't really try to fix anything if I can't reproduce the issue anywhere...

These issues are so frustrating. I've been here too many times.

I did one more test on my laptop, which is a generic windows 10 home computer. No plugins, windows security.
Same effect.

I also rolled back JCE one version, same effect.

Something is going on and I'm guessing this will start being reported as the module is updated and installed.

I think I tested all the possible variations (computers, browsers, internet providers). As a final check, I tested it on my 10 year old iMac 21 (with up to date browsers and OS) in Brave and Chrome and it got the same effect: 9 works, 10 does not.

Note: If you want me to, I can clone the site and give you full access and CPANEL access.

So for now I'll stay on 9. Let me know if you find a solution.

So can you set up a site on which you can install version 10 and give me admin access?
And if possible also (s)ftp access?

Well... sorry... but:

- I logged in to your site
- Opened the Content Templater list
- Clicked on the single item to edit
- Clicked on the "Save & Close" button
- And was directed to the list view:

Some other info:
When I tried to log in on Firefox or Chrome after being logged in on Edge, I get an error:
Call to a member function purgePrivate() on null

After logging out on Edge I could get in (and be logged in on multiple browsers at the same time).

So maybe whatever triggers that is causing issues 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway, I tried saving the Content Templater item on these 3 browsers, and all went fine.

I found that the purgePrivate() class is used in the Litespeed Cache plugin...

I uninstalled LiteSpeed and my JHZ Optimize on my version:
nmtc1.client1enktesis.com

Cleared all caches.

Same effect. 10 fails / 9 works.

I simply cannot imagine what is causing this since I have no special firewalls running, all other apps / plugins behave well. My comcast connection is straight through.

I even disabled the minimal firewall on the comcast router. Same results.

As you can see, something is truncating the URL for your button.
nmtc1.client1enktesis.com/administrator/#

For now I'll use version 9. Let me know if you find a solution.
