Add to Menu
Add additional link at the bottom to open the article with non meny and newly created menu
It is a bit hard under Joomla to work with menus since you need to fiddle the URL from the full menu path.
It would be great if at the bottom you could add two links more:
- open with created menu URL (major requirement)
- open default article link (joomla standard URL with params)
You mean the functionality Better Preview offers?!

great did not know this plugin
The plugin does nearly all what I need. It attaches in the upper right and lower left corner some more preview options by the given IDs
It is missing the option to open a article by a created menu entry (instead by ID). If this would be there, it would be great!
Better Preview will find the best matching menu item and use that for the frontend url.
So if you have a menu item pointing directly to that article, it will use that menu item as the active one.
If you create the menu item using Add to Menu, you will probably first need to refresh the article edit page for Better Preview to pick it up.
tested the plugin now in more detail.
My feature requests:
- provide a link to the default joomla URL (no menu link)
- provide links to all menu entries matching to the article
